Fear and How It Works Against You

Fear and Procrastination

Procrastination is fear, when you do not start or complete something because of what you think someone will say or think that they will reject you and or that you will fail at it, this is Procrastination at it's worst causing you to be fearful of failure, But the truth is if you jump in and fail maybe 3 or 4 or 5x getting better just a little bit each time and you will feel that the fear will start to ease up on you be replaced with competance and confidence making you feel better and able to complete the tasks in a timely manner with no effort at all. Sometimes it may be the size of the project or the length of it that you fear you might not complete it and may involve taking a risk or two. Look at the situation maybe it is time to delegate the task at hand to someone  capable of completing it without any fear at all.

So it has now become habit I know that I will put things that I fear for one reason or another and it was great feeling of relief when I realized this was happening. Now, when I find a particular task always at the bottom of my to-do-list I stop and ask myself why. What am i really afraid of and put it to the top of my list so the tasks I do not like to do get do first and over a period of 27-30 days it will not be one of the things I dread to do and is something I have put massive action toward and do on a regular basis, no longer is it in the fear and Procrastination category

What is stopping you from completing your to-do list? Just ask yourself what is really happening here, and then take what is needed to do to get past it. Tackle one thing each day or even each week. You will feel so much better once you do! Just remember to to do it over and over so that you build new neropathways in your mind.

Take a moment and think of what types of things do you typically procrastinate? Do they weigh on you or are you able to ignore them? Once you have a list made you are able to conquer them one by one until you are fearless.
